Consultations & Costs

Lindsy Murray

Qualified Dog Behaviour Consultant

Based in Cheshire | Call: 07974 694 278

My job as a Certified Dog Behaviour Consultant is to help you understand the reasons behind your dog’s unwanted behaviour and offer well researched, ethical, practical guidance and support to bring about positive changes.

One to One Consultations

Every dog is unique and each dog deserves individual care and attention. I prefer to work on a one to one basis rather than teaching in a group class. This ensures that a behaviour modification programme is specifically tailored to your dog’s particular needs.

Where will I see your dog ?

Home visits are now available

Virtual Consultations have proved to be an extremely effective way of helping dogs They will now be combined with home visits if necessary to give you the best help and support for your dog.

Secure Fields

I do have my own private secure fields which can be used should this be a necessary part of the help you need.

Fees

A straightforward package to help you and your dog.

From experience, a ‘one-off’ consultation may give you a basic understanding of why your dog is behaving in a particular way, however, it is the ongoing support which really makes the difference. For this reason I offer a straightforward package (see below) which will give you all the help and support you need to make positive changes in your dog’s life.

3 consultations for only

£265.00

This also includes two free ‘optional’ consultations should you wish to use them!

Please note: The initial consultation is always via Zoom. A home visit can be arranged as one of the follow-up consultations.

An additional £45.00 will be charged for this + travel costs within a 15 mile radius. Please contact me for additional charges beyond this radius.

Here is how the package works:-

Initial Consultation

Initial consultation will be approximately 2 hours. This will be a Zoom consultation . During this time I will discuss and help you understand the reasons for your dog’s behaviour problems.

I will offer immediate beneficial management changes for you to put in place and will talk you through a behaviour modification plan that can be started within the following 24 hours.

Any follow-up information will be forwarded within 48 hours.

A second follow-up consultation (see below) will be organised for the following week or within ten days.

2 follow-up consultations:-

These can be home visits or Zoom consultations. (up to one hour)

Follow-up consultations are an essential part of behaviour modification for your dog, this is where we monitor progress and make necessary changes which may be appropriate.

Please note: If the follow-up consultation is a home visit, then an additional £45 will be charged + travel costs.

2 extra ‘optional’ support consultations.

I offer a further 2 free ‘optional’ support consultations which are 20 -45 minute Zoom or phone ‘catch up’ sessions. This is to assess progress and to introduce further management changes or training plans which may be necessary.

In total, 5 consultations which offer my personal support and guidance to keep you on track as you work through a plan to make lasting and positive changes.

Further follow-up consultations

Often an initial consultation, 2 follow-up consultations and 2 weeks of additional help and guidance is enough to see a significant change in your dog and you will feel like you have achieved a great deal.

However, we are not fixing a washing machine or installing a new update on a computer. We are working with a ‘live being’ whose, fears, anxieties, frustrations and learned behaviours are not predictably ‘fixable’. It all takes time.

Therefore further follow-up consultations although optional, are often essential if you want to make lasting change.

4 Week additional support: £90.00

This includes:

4 Zoom/Skype or phone ‘catch up’ consultations. This is to assess progress and to introduce further management changes or training plans which may be necessary. Each support consultation will be approximately 45 minutes.

Please factor in the probability of an additional 4-week support cost when considering the overall cost of helping your dog.
